How would you describe your style?Eclectic, colourful, tactile and curated maximalist.Where do you find inspiration for interiors?I’ve lived in quite a few different countries and cities, and I’m a photographer so I’m constantly picking up new things when I’m travelling for shoots. I have an intense level of observation and am always scanning a room; visually cataloguing in my brain colour combinations, weird unusual furniture placements or quirky shop fronts. What are your best interior design tips?In any design situation I let the space in question lead the way, I’ve never been swayed by trends but just follow the lead of the room. I’m by no means a traditionalist [in the sense that] pieces need to stay untouched, I’m all about progression and finding a way to balance the past and present. I love to mix high and low, contemporary and vintage pieces and give new life to classic design pieces. I also love celebrating imperfections, those dents and scratches can tell stories of that piece’s history which can give a space a real lived in atmosphere.
