What is your best interior decorating tip? I’ve got 2! 1. My sofa trick! Ok so it’s really expensive to reupholster a sofa, so you can just do the front and back cushions. You get a totally revamped sofa for a fraction of the price. I also love the mix of fabrics. 2. Have a look at what you’ve already got. We found some beautiful floorboards, eaves on our top floor and an amazing steel column in our kitchen. It’s not all about buying new but finding gems within the structure of your building. What makes your home unique to you?I think what makes a home unique to anyone are the memories that you create in your home. I don’t think a home is ever finished and I think you are always adding to it, but you are adding to it from your travels and your experiences. When we got the first mark on our kitchen table I had to sit down! But now I love it as we are adding memories. And then I’d say the mass of stripes makes our home unique to us.Where do you get your interior inspiration?Mainly from my daily life - I might see a fab colour combination on some packaging in the supermarket, or a leaflet that’s come through our door, or two cars parked together. Magazine wise I look to House and Garden, and then of course instagram. I am forever being inspired and for that I am really grateful.
