Hi, you!We want to chat to you about something close to our heart. We have a fast furniture problem, and it's no accident: it's by design. Did you know an IKEA Billy bookcase is produced every 3 seconds? Fast furniture manufacturers ensure you need to replace items more often, resulting in more sales of the pieces they are overproducing. ⁠Because of cheap, non-recyclable materials and purposefully low quality design, most of the furniture currently in landfill was made in the last 10-15 years.⁠⁠It's a vicious cycle that we can break by elongating the life of furniture in a more circular economy. Buying better where possible and re-selling is key. By collating independent businesses and re-sellers in one place, we want to make shopping small or second hand not only easy, but the norm.⁠👇
